Janet HandJANET HAND, MA, RN is the founder/director of Pathways to Wellness Healing Center in Sea Cliff, NY, where she maintains a private practice in holistic healing. She specializes in psychospiritual counseling, polarity energy balancing, wellness education, holistic retreats, and self development for inner awareness and transformation.

Janet received her BS in Nursing at Adelphi University and received her MA in Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing from NYU. She is a clinical nurse specialist and has been in nursing education, holistic healing, and private practice for over 35 years. Janet has been an adjunct faculty at the College of New Rochelle in the graduate holistic nursing program; currently she is an adjunct faculty at Adelphi University in the undergraduate nursing program in community health. She designed and teaches "Healing Modalities and Self Care" in the RN Curriculum, and is a seminar leader on "Cultural and Unusual Healing modalities" for the tri-state area at the School of Social Welfare/Child Welfare Training Program at Stony Brook University. Janet integrates the wisdom of many cultural/natural ways of healing into her practice.

Janet is an Ordained Interfaith Minister from The New Seminary of Interfaith Ministry in New York City. She co-creates Interfaith weddings, baby naming/blessings, funerals, memorials, house blessings, and other healing rituals/ceremonies. Janet offers study circles on the wisdom of dreams, simplicity, healing and spiritual practice for wellness.

Janet's knowledge and experience in nursing and spirituality are grounded in the awareness that health is wholeness — a dynamic harmony and creative balance of Body, Mind, Spirit. Her natural style empowers one's inner wisdom, resources, and choices for healing.
